These are trying times for all of us. It was a very difficult decision for us to have to make, but we did have to cancel service this week. We will closely monitor the situation and make future decisions week by week. We certainly do not want to cancel services, but this virus is affecting everyone and the doctors have advised anyone with respiratory issues to stay home.
That being said, our church is strictly volunteer run and staffed and we have no payroll, but we still have fixed expenses for the church and without the
church services, we obviously do not have any income. We still have to pay the church insurance, and the utilities.
I am reaching out to everyone to see if we can get some relief in meeting these expenses. If you can help, any donations in any amount would be greatly appreciated. I dislike asking for donations, but the reality is that the utilities and the insurance companies still need to be paid. Any donations made are tax deductible as we are recognized by the IRS for tax deductions.
If you can help in any way, please forward your donations to the Port Monmouth Community Church % Pastor Don Magaw, 8 Vanada Drive, Neptune, NJ 07753.
Please make this a matter of prayer.
